The Sanlam Group Financial Journalism Awards are now open for entries, marking 51 years of recognising excellence in financial reporting across Africa.
For more than five decades, the awards have honoured journalists whose work shapes how the continent understands business, markets and the broader economy. From in-depth corporate investigations to insightful market analysis and compelling economic storytelling, the awards celebrate reporting that demonstrates integrity, analytical rigour and real public impact.
As financial systems grow more complex and audiences demand greater clarity and accountability, the role of credible financial journalism has never been more important. The awards continue to set the benchmark for quality, recognising work that informs, educates and strengthens economic discourse across Africa.
